Navi UPI payment providers
Navi UPI: companies, offers and requests that work with this method.
Navi UPI in the UPI ecosystem
Navi is one of the third-party UPI apps used by Indian consumers alongside larger apps like PhonePe, Google Pay and Paytm. For a merchant, a payment from Navi is still a standard UPI transaction: money moves between the customer's bank account and the merchant's collection account over NPCI rails. There is no separate "Navi acquiring" — you need a payment gateway or PSP in India that supports UPI, and the customer simply chooses Navi as the app to approve the payment.
Why the app matters for checkout
- UPI intent: on mobile the checkout opens a list of installed UPI apps; showing popular apps first, including Navi, can improve conversion.
- Collect requests: the customer enters a VPA (UPI ID), and the request appears in the Navi app for approval.
- Dynamic QR: scanned by any UPI app, including Navi.
Success rates can vary by app and by the bank behind the handle, so providers often report conversion per app and per handle.
Accepting Navi UPI payments
- 1.Choose a PSP or payment aggregator in India with UPI intent, collect and QR support.
- 2.Pass merchant KYC; overseas companies usually need a cross-border collection model.
- 3.Integrate the API or hosted checkout and set up callbacks for asynchronous status updates.
Payouts and P2P
UPI payouts to a customer's VPA work regardless of which app they use. In P2P processing, traders and teams receive UPI transfers to personal or business VPAs — see P2P processing and UPI handles pages.
What to ask providers
- UPI success rate overall and by app, time to confirmation.
- Transaction limits, refund flow, dispute handling via the UPI complaint process.
- Settlement timing (T+0/T+1), INR or converted currency.
- Accepted verticals: gaming and other high-risk categories have stricter rules.
