What a pay-in trader does

A pay-in trader lends their payment details to a P2P flow. The provider routes a customer deposit to the trader's card, account or UPI ID; the trader confirms the funds arrived; the provider credits the merchant and owes the trader the equivalent in USDT minus the agreed rate. Because the trader is effectively selling crypto for local currency, pay-in is often described as the "buy" side of P2P liquidity.

What matters for providers

  • Number of active details: more cards or accounts means more parallel deposits and less risk from a single block.
  • Bank mix: customers convert better when the trader's bank matches theirs or supports instant transfers.
  • Online hours: many deposits happen in the evening and on weekends.
  • Confirmation speed: slow confirmations lead to support tickets and lost customers.
  • Deposit size: the trader's locked collateral limits how much can pass through before settlement.

Methods and GEOs

Common rails are card-to-card, SBP, UPI, bank transfer and mobile wallets. Pages with enough listings exist for India, Russia, Argentina, the US, Canada and the UK.

Risks to manage

  • Third-party or "drop" accounts — ask how the trader sources details and whether the account holder is the trader.
  • Freezes by banks after unusual inflows — agree in advance who bears the loss on frozen funds.
  • Fake receipts — confirm by bank notification or statement, not by screenshots.
  • Concentration — avoid routing all deposits through one trader.

Getting started

Compare trader offers on the Offers tab, or post a request with GEO, method, expected daily volume and deposit terms. If you need managed capacity rather than individuals, see pay-in teams. Nominal hub is only a directory and does not guarantee any listed trader.
