Financial services as merchants
Lenders, investment apps, neobanks, remittance services, insurance and payment startups need processing just like retailers, but with tighter compliance. Many of them combine collections (repayments, top-ups, deposits) with large payout flows (loan disbursements, withdrawals, transfers). This page lists fintech merchants looking for such partners.
What these merchants usually ask for
- Collections: cards, direct debit, open banking and local bank transfers for repayments and deposits.
- Disbursements: instant payouts to cards, accounts and wallets via payout providers.
- Accounts and IBANs: EMI accounts, virtual IBANs and BaaS and BIN sponsors for card issuing.
- Cross-border and FX: multi-currency settlement and cross-border payments.
- Compliance stack: KYC/KYB, AML monitoring and compliance outsourcing.
Choosing a partner for a financial product
- Regulatory fit: some providers only onboard licensed entities (EMI, PI, MSB, lender licence); check the payment licensing section if you are still applying.
- Recurring and mandates: support for card-on-file, direct debit and recurring payments.
- Payout speed and coverage: same-day or instant rails per country.
- Reconciliation: webhooks, reports and reference matching for high transaction counts.
- Reserve and limits: lenders and brokers are often underwritten with reserves and caps.
Related verticals: forex and CFD brokers and payday lending carry higher risk and have their own hubs.
