About
LHoFT fintech hub is the Luxembourg House of Financial Technology, a foundation set up in 2016 to connect startups with banks, insurers, investors and mentors. By its own count it has supported 211 fintechs, accelerated 190 startups from 29 countries and gathered more than 300 mentors and experts.
Programmes and rhythm
The core is the Catapult acceleration programme, with incubation, a fellowship, corporate innovation projects and shared ("mutualisation") initiatives alongside. Regular formats include Fintech Friday, Women in Fintech, the Fintech Recruits job fair on 30 October 2026 and the interview series Founders Asking Questions, whose next session on 21 October features the CEO of Dealfox.
What payments teams can use
The ecosystem directory and fintech map have a payments segment, which is the quickest way to find Luxembourg-based payment firms. The insights library holds the whitepaper on the future of payments in Luxembourg and a July 2026 paper on the country's new tax framework for employee stock options. On 13 October 2026 the hub announced Ami Nagata as its new chief executive. Everything is published in English.
Payments angle
The whitepaper "Payments in Luxembourg: A Glance Into the Future", written with the Payments Association EU, covers the local payments market and consumer behaviour; the fintech map lists payment companies as a separate segment.
