About
The Singapore FinTech Association (SFA) is the membership body for Singapore's fintech industry, with some 6,400 professionals and 500 corporate members. It works with regulators and policymakers on feedback to regulation and industry standards.
Committees and recent outputs
SFA runs eight subcommittees: InsurTech, RegTech, Women in FinTech, Green and Sustainable Finance, Cyber Risk, Payments, Capital Markets Services and Web 3.0. For payments readers the key items are the Payments Industry Code of Conduct, launched on 3 August 2026, and the Payments Leaders Forum 2026 on 11 November. On 29 September 2026 SFA published a report with KPMG on governance in cloud-based RegTech; on 24 August it added four members to its Strategic Advisory Council.
Resources
The English-language site offers downloadable reports such as "Singapore: The OnChain State 2025" and "FinTech in ASEAN 2024", a registry of accredited BNPL providers, codes of conduct, webinars, workshops, grants and certifications, plus the SFF FinTech Excellence Awards and a member directory. For PSPs and banks looking at Singapore licensing and partners, it is a way to see who sits at the table.
