About
FinanceEstonia is the umbrella organisation of Estonia's financial sector: more than 90 members from the private and public sectors, fully financed by its members, and active for over 15 years. Members named on the site include LHV Group, Nasdaq Tallinn, Veriff, Salv, Bigbank, Wallester, EY and KPMG.
What it does The cluster sends comments to ministries and the Financial Supervision Authority. On 30 September 2026 it gave feedback on the authority's draft guidance on financial fraud risk management and asked for changes to the e-filing consumer credit form before it becomes mandatory. On 1 October it sent policy recommendations to political parties ahead of the 2027 parliamentary elections. The same week, cybersecurity firm Buck4Bug joined as a member.
Working groups and events Work is split across fintech, capital markets, insurance, funded pensions, and lenders and credit intermediaries. The calendar lists a Capital Markets Working Group on 20 October, an EU Financial Centers Roundtable in Tallinn on 22 October and an Insurance Working Group on 2 November. In June 2026 it marked its 15th anniversary together with Nasdaq Tallinn's 30th.
For payment companies licensed or planning to be licensed in Estonia, the comments show how the sector reacts to new supervisory expectations before they apply.
