ZeroDev is modular smart-account infrastructure built on ERC-4337 and ERC-7579 for sponsoring gas, batching transactions and issuing session keys. Founded in 2022, it is based in San Francisco.

Products The company lists the Kernel Smart Account, a Gas Paymaster, Session Keys, Passkeys and Chain Abstraction. The paymaster lets gas be paid in USDC or USDT, or covered by the merchant, so a user can send USDT without holding native ETH. Session keys allow an app to act within limits the user has set, without a signature on every step.

Networks and clients ZeroDev states coverage of more than 30 EVM networks. Target verticals are stablecoin payment apps, DeFi, Web3 gaming and wallets, where onboarding friction around gas is a frequent reason users drop off.
