Veridas

Veridas develops its own proprietary engines for facial and voice biometrics, NFC verification and KYC. The company was founded in 2017 as a joint venture with the bank BBVA and works from Pamplona and Madrid in Spain, with a presence in Mexico.

Technology The product list includes ID Document Verification, Facial Biometrics with Injection Attack Detection, Voice Biometrics that needs about three seconds of speech, and Age Verification. Veridas states that its neural networks rank among the top in the world in NIST evaluations, and that all engines are built in-house rather than licensed.

Clients and markets Named verticals are banks, with BBVA among them, plus fintech, iGaming, telecom and GovTech. Stated geography covers Europe, Latin America and the United States. The bank origin is visible in the focus on regulated onboarding and authentication of existing customers.

Commercial model The service is enterprise SaaS. Pricing is not published, so volumes, modules such as voice or age checks, and deployment options should be agreed with the vendor.
