Overview
PortOne is an orchestration platform that connects global merchants to local payment methods across Asia-Pacific. It was formerly known as I'mport, and the company states it was founded in 2014, with headquarters listed in Singapore and Seoul.
What the platform does The product set includes a single API, smart routing, automated reconciliation and payouts. Through that one integration a merchant reaches more than 100 local wallets and banks in Asia, so there is no need to build and maintain each connection separately. Routing logic decides which provider handles a given payment, while reconciliation reduces manual matching of settlements.
Markets and verticals Coverage includes South Korea, Japan, Singapore, Vietnam, Indonesia, Thailand, the Philippines and India. Target verticals are gaming, e-commerce, travel, SaaS and digital content. According to the company, it processes billions of dollars in South Korea and Southeast Asia.
Commercial model Pricing combines a SaaS subscription with a per-transaction fee. Exact tariffs and which local methods are available in each country should be confirmed with the company before integration.
