Overview
Sola Payments, formerly Cardknox, is a flexible payment gateway and white-label platform for software developers (ISVs) and ISOs. Founded in 2012 in Howell, New Jersey, it supports all major US acquirers and focuses on North America.

The integrated gateway plugs into a website, point-of-sale system or industry software. The portal handles reports, refunds and transaction monitoring; a mobile POS turns a smartphone into an acceptance point for field sales and delivery; an SDK lets developers build payments into their own app.
Methods Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express cards, ACH debits, EMV chip acceptance in store, and contactless and mobile payments.
Partners and verticals ISVs, ISOs, B2B, retail, healthcare and e-commerce are the target segments. Partners are paid through a revenue share, and the company is known for fast integration and strong reseller payouts.
Onboarding The merchant application asks for card processing statements for the three previous periods, used to assess volume and refunds. A business with no card history should ask in advance how its review works.
