FuturaPay is building mobile money infrastructure in Africa and recruiting local partners country by country. It wants companies whose connection is already live in production, not just planned.
Who is wanted - MTN Mobile Money operators and aggregators; - Orange Money operators and aggregators; - companies ready to act as FuturaPay's partner in their country.
Mobile money is the main way to pay online in many African countries, so direct access to these networks is worth more than card acquiring.
Mandatory conditions - authorised, operator-owned production API access; - valid local licences and permissions; - KYB and a contract.
Credential sharing, account rental and workarounds are ruled out.
