PaymentCloud is a US company, founded in 2015 and based in Los Angeles, that opens merchant accounts for high-risk businesses and supplies risk management, MID monitoring and anti-fraud tools. It works in the United States and Canada.

The company says its tools help keep fraud and chargeback ratios below Visa VDMP and VFMP thresholds, which matters because exceeding dispute limits can cost a merchant its account. The cost is included in the processing or gateway tariff.
