Small WordPress site seeks a stable payment gateway
Details
Requirements
- Online payments on a WordPress site
- Clear fees with no surprises
- Stable payment processing
- Convenient checkout page
The owner of a small website is looking for a payment gateway for WordPress that processes online payments reliably and has no surprises in its pricing. The request was posted in April 2026.
Background
The author has already tried two well-known services. Stripe caused problems, though the post does not say what they were. The PayPal checkout felt clumsy for buyers. What is needed now is a provider whose processing simply works.
Requirements
- online payments on a WordPress site;
- a transparent, predictable fee structure;
- stable processing without sudden holds or declines;
- a checkout page that is easy for customers.
Sales volume, industry and jurisdiction are not mentioned. A provider should ask for these details before quoting a rate.
Who fits
PSPs with a ready WooCommerce plugin or another WordPress module are the natural match: a small project owner wants to connect without hiring a developer. It helps to show a sample checkout page and the full fee list in the first reply.
