Why a separate payment form American clients are used to paying by card in a form on the website without creating extra accounts. The author wants to offer them this option alongside the existing PayPal and Wise setup, not necessarily to drop those services.
About settlement times Near-instant card settlement is the author's expectation, not a promise from any provider. Card funds usually arrive within one to several business days, and accelerated payouts are available for an extra fee or after a track record.
