LogRaker is a macOS app sold as a one-time licence purchase. The project already has a primary Merchant of Record, Polar, and the author is now looking for a second provider as a backup, so sales keep running if the main one fails or freezes the account.
What the provider should handle - one-time software checkout; - licence fulfilment after payment; - the Merchant of Record role, with the provider acting as seller to the buyer; - calculation and remittance of sales tax and VAT across countries.
Context This is not a merchant without a payment solution but a resilience request. The author says real sales volume was small at the time. The app keeps being updated, with a fresh release in September 2026.
Who fits MoR providers for independent developers with simple onboarding, licence key support and a reasonable minimum threshold. For a small indie product, quick setup and no monthly fee matter most. The request was published in June 2026.
