A solo founder in India is building a small SaaS and looking for a MicroSaaS subscription provider. The founder wants a service suited to one-person businesses: billing foreign customers in dollars without drowning in tax, GST and compliance requirements.
Requirements - international card acceptance; - subscriptions in US dollars; - simpler handling of tax and GST; - onboarding that is not built for large companies.
Why tax matters here An Indian exporter of digital services has to account for GST and document foreign currency receipts. A Merchant of Record model removes part of this burden, because the provider handles sales taxes in buyers' countries.
