Prelaunch fiat wallet seeks a sponsor bank for transfers to Central Africa

Respond

Details

Requirements

  • Sponsor bank or FBO account in the US
  • EU safeguarding of customer funds
  • Local payout partner in the CEMAC (XAF) region
  • Willingness to onboard a project with no volume yet

What we offer

  • Fiat-only transfers, no crypto
  • US and France to Central Africa corridors

A fiat wallet team preparing for launch is looking for a sponsor bank (sponsor / FBO bank) together with remittance infrastructure. The corridors run from the United States and France to Central Africa, and the project needs a partner that does not require an established processing history.

What the project needs - US banking on an FBO basis, where customer funds are held in an account for their benefit; - EU safeguarding of customer money for the French corridor; - cross-border fiat remittance; - a local payout partner on the recipient side.

Geography Transfers originate in the United States and France. Recipients are in the Central African Republic and across the wider CEMAC region, where settlement runs in CFA francs (XAF).

Constraints and expectations The wallet has not launched yet, so there is no volume. One quote the team received, 45 US dollars per transfer, was rejected as too expensive for this model. The founders chose a fiat-only setup with no crypto. A provider should expect to verify company readiness and regulatory status during KYB.
