ItaliaFintech

ItaliaFintech association is the trade body of Italian fintech entrepreneurs, with a legal seat in Milan and an operating base in Rome. It works on advocacy, networking and education, and lists member companies such as Nexi, Qonto, Trade Republic, Conio, Younited, Capital.com and Lemonway among more than 40 firms.

Recent activity

On 5 October 2026 it reported strengthened cooperation with Poland after a fintech roundtable at the Polish Embassy in Rome. On 20 July it signed a framework agreement with InnovUp to strengthen the innovation chain in Italy. On 11 May it submitted contributions to consultations run by AMLA, the EU anti-money-laundering authority.

Programmes

The association publishes the ItaliaFintech Pulse blog and an ItaliaFintech Talks podcast, runs the Fintech Awards 2026, and organises international sessions such as events with Poland and appearances at Berlin's GITEX AI Europe and the Baltic Payment Forum.

Payment institutions and e-money companies planning an Italian launch can use the member list and AML consultation contributions to see who is active locally and which EU rules the association is lobbying on. The site is in Italian.
