IBS Intelligence, known as IBSi, is the media arm of a UK-headquartered research and advisory firm founded in 1991 that bills itself as a pure-play fintech research, advisory and media company. Its newsfeed follows banking software and the vendors that sell it to banks.

Publications

The monthly IBSi FinTech Journal picks a feature theme each issue; October 2026 centres on enterprise banking transformation, core systems and AI. The flagship annual IBSi Sales League Table ranks technology vendors by deals closed with banks: the 26th edition, published in June 2026, counted 1,347 qualifying deals from 60 vendors, 989 of them global and 358 Indian domestic. IBSi also launched the Middle East Banking Excellence Awards in 2026.

Payments content

The daily feed carries payments items too. On 16 October these included a payment licence for KPay, B2B payments in stablecoins and Google Pay for prepaid accounts.
