About
Fintech Radar is Alan Tsen's weekly newsletter, numbered issue by issue, with long titles that name three stories each. It runs every Sunday or Monday and is a quick way to see the week's main fintech and payments moves.
Recent issues
Issue #179 (12 October 2026): Ramp hits 60 billion dollars, OPay heads for the NYSE, and Meta drafts rules for personal agents. Issue #178 (5 October): Stripe doubles down on SMB credit, Visa and Mastercard back a stablecoin, and Robinhood lets agents trade. Issue #177 (28 September): Nubank eyes Monzo, Airtel Money heads for a London listing, and Amazon shuts out Meta's agent. Issue #176 (21 September): Grab buys into lending, Ramp sets up in the UK, and Enova walks away from its charter. Issues #175 and #174 covered Chime buying the bank behind it and Anthropic eyeing its own payments stack.
Why issue titles help
Because each title lists the three leading stories, you can decide in seconds whether the issue is worth opening.
For payments people
Card networks, PSPs, wallets and neobanks all appear regularly, so the newsletter doubles as a timeline of who moved first in agentic commerce, SMB credit and stablecoin payments.
Payments angle
A weekly roundup that puts Stripe, Visa, Mastercard, Ramp and agentic payments into three-story issues.
