About

FinTech México is the association founded in 2015 to group fintech companies and drive the industry in Mexico and Latin America. It now has more than 180 affiliated companies, 11 vice presidencies and working groups, and it cites 70+ authorised fintech institutions (ITF) and over 70 million people using fintech services in the country.

News and activity

Recent posts include, on 2 October 2026, the CAF call for digital solutions that support financial inclusion of the "silver economy"; on 28 September, Veridas being named a Gartner Visionary in identity verification; and on 24 September, ABANCA seeking startups to pilot technology inside financial institutions. Training is part of the offer: an in-person Open Finance workshop was completed, and a Fintech Essentials course covers ecosystem fundamentals and emerging technologies.

Events

The yearly festival, FTMX Week and the launch of Visión 2030, set for 28 October 2026.
