Asociación Española de FinTech e InsurTech (AEFI)

AEFI association, the Asociación Española de FinTech e InsurTech, is Spain's association for fintech and insurtech firms. It has 160 member companies and aims to create a favourable environment for start-ups and established firms through dealings with regulators and other stakeholders.

Verticals Members are grouped into twelve verticals, each with its own coordinators: digital assets, crowdfunding and crowdlending, personal finance, financial infrastructure, insurtech, online lending, marketplaces and aggregators, neobanks, PayTech, RegTech and digital identity, transactional services and forex, and wealthtech. The PayTech and infrastructure groups are the ones closest to payments.

Recent activity In October 2026 the FinTech Women Network event discussed female leadership during the AI shift, and the ninth FinTech Women Network Report was presented. In August 2026 the general director gave an interview on Financial Education Day.
