About
AllianceDFA is the Alliance of Digital Finance and Fintech Associations, a global network whose members are not companies but other trade associations. It sets up and strengthens national digital-finance and fintech bodies, so that each country has a voice on inclusive digital financial services.
How it works The work is split into three strands: enhance (capacity for associations), lead (a shared voice and exchange of practice) and catalyse (partnerships and networking). Members are Digital Finance and Fintech Associations, partner organisations and honorary members who act as country focal points for advocacy and technical help.
Recent topics On 13 October 2026 it published "The Thinking Room", a new format where members bring a problem and work through it together. Earlier in 2026 it ran a "Data and AI Readiness for Impact" workshop with data.org. A thought-leadership article section collects longer opinion pieces.
Why payments people look at it For a payments company, this is a map of national associations. It helps find the body that lobbies for mobile money, interoperability or agent networks in a given market, particularly in emerging economies.
