Who integration teams are

Integration teams are local specialists who help a payment provider or merchant get live in a specific market. They know which banks and wallets work with foreign businesses, how local methods are connected, which documents are needed and where integrations usually break. Unlike pay-in or payout teams, they do not run money flows themselves — they set up the infrastructure so others can.

Typical services

  • PSP integration: connecting a provider's API or H2H endpoints, testing callbacks, mapping statuses.
  • Local method onboarding: getting UPI, PIX, SBP, mobile wallets or QR live through local partners.
  • Merchant onboarding team services: preparing KYB packages, answering acquirer questionnaires, setting up cashier and payment pages.
  • Bank and partner introductions within their market, with the final contract always signed directly between the parties.
  • Market research: which methods convert, typical ticket sizes and seasonality.

When to hire one

  • Entering a GEO where you have no local staff or language skills.
  • A new acquirer or APM provider needs a technical integration in a short window.
  • Your conversion in a country is low and you need someone to audit the flow end to end.

How to evaluate

  • Concrete markets and methods they have integrated before — ask for technical details, not just names.
  • Whether they work on a fixed fee, hourly, or a success fee tied to volume.
  • Who owns accounts and credentials after the project ends.
  • Confidentiality terms and how they handle your merchants' data.
  • Availability across time zones during the launch.

Teams from many markets are listed, with notable activity in India, Indonesia, Vietnam, Mexico and Nigeria. Describe your target market in a request and let teams come to you — Nominal hub does not mediate or guarantee results.
