Overview
Zepto is a bank-based payment services provider in Australia. It handles recurring payments and payouts using Australia's real-time payment infrastructure.
Methods
- NPP: Australia's New Payments Platform, which moves money between accounts in real time;
- PayID: a transfer to a simple identifier such as a phone number, e-mail address or business number instead of account details;
- PayTo: a customer-approved agreement for debits from their account, managed in their own bank; a modern replacement for direct debit;
- Direct debit: the classic pull from an account under an authority.
