Overview
Zamupay is a Kenyan payment provider listed in the Central Bank of Kenya (CBK) public directory of authorised PSPs. The regulator permits the company to process payments on behalf of merchants.
What the authorisation means
Processing payments for merchants is an intermediary role between the seller and payment channels: the provider collects customers' money, runs the transactions and settles with the business. A CBK licence means the company has passed regulatory review and operates under supervision. For a seller, that adds confidence in the counterparty handling its revenue.
Licence and legal entity

- permitted service: payment processing for merchants.
The licence is fairly recent, so it is worth asking in advance which channels are already live.
