What high-risk means
High-risk usually covers industries with frequent refunds and chargebacks, subscription models, digital goods, gambling, nutraceuticals, travel with long prepayment periods and other niches under close card scheme scrutiny. For such merchants, reserves, chargeback monitoring and the provider's experience with similar projects all matter.
Onboarding
The company states that it serves the high-risk segment, but whether a specific business can be onboarded is decided after review: the provider looks at the industry, processing history, chargeback ratio and company documents.
