Overview
Waystar Patient Payments is a payment facilitator (PayFac) for US healthcare. The solution helps clinics and medical organizations in the United States collect payments from patients and keep their books in order.

What the PayFac model means
A payment facilitator onboards clients under its own master account with an acquirer. A medical organization does not have to go through the full merchant account application separately: payment acceptance becomes part of the service it already uses to manage patient billing.
