UK EMI: EUR/GBP IBANs, Faster Payments and merchant acquiring

A UK EMI combines dedicated EUR and GBP IBANs, domestic and international transfers and merchant acquiring, meaning card acceptance from shoppers, in a single package. The offer was published at the end of June 2026.

Services - EUR and GBP IBANs in the company name; - SEPA Instant for euro and Faster Payments for sterling; - SWIFT for international transfers; - business cards; - an API to connect the back office; - card acceptance for online sales.

Who it is for Primarily licensed fintech companies and PSPs. International businesses and e-commerce are also named, specifically those that need dedicated IBANs, efficient cross-border payments and card acceptance within a regulated European payment ecosystem. The advantage is that the settlement account and card processing sit with one provider, so acquiring proceeds do not have to move between banks.

Where it operates The jurisdiction is the United Kingdom, with access to the SEPA zone. Acquiring rates and account fees are not published.
