Overview
T-Kash is the mobile wallet of the operator Telkom Kenya. Users send money, pay bills and top up airtime with it. The wallet is available in a mobile app and through Telkom's service network.
Transfers - within the wallet's own network; - to M-PESA, Kenya's most widely used mobile wallet; - to Airtel Money.
Being able to send money to other operators' wallets keeps the service useful even when the recipient is on a different network.
Payments - bill payments; - mobile airtime top-ups.
Licence and legal entity The operator is Telkom Kenya Limited. It is listed in the Central Bank of Kenya directory of authorised payment service providers as of 17 June 2026. Authorised services are mobile money and merchant payment processing; it was first licensed on 1 January 2018.
For businesses The merchant processing licence means the wallet can also be used to accept payments. A company operating in Kenya may consider it as an extra channel alongside M-PESA. Merchant pricing and onboarding steps are not listed; request them from the operator together with the technical integration requirements.
