Overview
Taxi Payments is a British payments company that helps taxi drivers accept bank card payments. Besides the service itself, the company runs a public partner program and recruits referrers who bring in new drivers.
What drivers get Card acceptance in the car: passengers pay by card instead of cash. For the driver this means fewer lost fares when a passenger has no cash and less time spent on change.
Partner program - the partner recommends the service to taxi drivers in the UK; - the company processes applications and onboards drivers itself, so the partner is not involved in paperwork; - the program targets partners and taxi and private hire networks (pre-booked vehicles).
This suits dispatch services, fleets and driver communities: they pass on the contact, and the provider handles the technical and contractual side.
