Tanda is a payment provider and infrastructure company from Kenya. Its legal entity, Tanda Agent Limited, is listed in the Central Bank of Kenya (CBK) directory of authorised payment service providers.
Licence - authorised service: processing payments on behalf of merchants; - first licensed on 13 September 2023; - listed in the CBK directory as of 17 June 2026.
The licence means the regulator has cleared the company to handle merchant payments: it may collect money from buyers on behalf of businesses and pass it to sellers under set rules.
