Overview
Smartlink is a crypto payment platform built around an escrow gateway. The company runs a partner programme for payment market participants: a partner shares a personal link and earns a share of the fees on transactions made by the users they bring in.
The product
An escrow gateway holds the payment with an intermediary until the deal is completed and only then releases it to the seller. The buyer is protected from a dishonest seller, and the seller from a buyer who refuses to pay after delivery. Combined with crypto, this works well for deals between parties who do not know each other.
