Overview
Qpay Turkey is a PSP and payment gateway that gives merchants a virtual POS for accepting payments. As the name suggests, it targets the Turkish market.
What a virtual POS is
A virtual POS is a software version of a card terminal. Instead of a physical device at the till, the seller gets:
- a payment form on a website or in an app;
- the option to take payment by link;
- an account area for keying in a transaction when a customer gives card details by phone.
In Turkey, online stores usually connect card acceptance through a virtual POS, so for a seller it is the standard entry point to online sales.
