Overview

QFPay is a payment facilitator (PayFac) operating in Hong Kong. This model lets a merchant start accepting payments under the facilitator's umbrella without signing a direct contract with an acquiring bank.

How a PayFac works

The facilitator holds the contract with the acquirer and registers its clients under it as sub-merchants. For a business this means:

  • a shorter path to accepting payments;
  • a simplified review instead of full bank underwriting;
  • technical support and settlement handled by one provider.

The flip side is that the facilitator is responsible for its sub-merchants towards the acquirer, so it may set its own limits and monitoring rules.

Who it is for

The model suits small and mid-sized businesses that need to launch payments quickly, as well as companies entering the Hong Kong market for the first time.

The operator is QFPay Haojin Fintech Limited. Payment methods, fees, payout timing and integration options are not listed in the description; they are clarified when you apply.
