Overview
PPRO is a PSP and payment aggregator that specialises in local payment methods. The company helps connect these methods, accept payments through them and manage them in one place.
Why local methods matter
In many countries shoppers do not pay by card but in ways familiar to them: bank transfers through online banking, local wallets, QR payments, voucher payments. If the checkout page lacks such an option, some customers simply leave. Connecting each method separately takes time: every one has its own contract, API and settlement procedure.
What the aggregator does
- Connection. Methods are added through one integration rather than dozens of separate ones.
- Acceptance. Payments across different methods run on shared infrastructure.
- Management. Reporting and reconciliation for all methods are kept together.
Who it suits
The aggregator model helps payment companies and large sellers entering new markets that want to offer familiar payment options without separate work for each country.
The exact list of methods, countries and fees is not given in the description; it is matched to the client's markets.
