Overview
PicPay Empresas is the business arm of the Brazilian e-wallet PicPay. It helps companies in Brazil accept payments through POS terminals, payment links, PicPay Tap and boleto.
Payment methods
- Pix, the central bank's instant transfer system; the public page states Pix acceptance with no extra fees;
- Cards;
- POS, terminals for points of sale;
- Tap to Pay (PicPay Tap), contactless payments on the seller's smartphone without a separate terminal;
- Payment links for selling through messengers and social media;
- Boleto, a Brazilian payment slip the buyer pays at a bank, lottery outlet or online.
Who it suits
Small businesses and sole traders who want a quick start without a terminal, thanks to Tap to Pay. Shops and services with physical premises via POS. Online sellers via links and boleto.
Why Pix pays off
Pix has become the country's most popular payment method, and with no extra fees it is the cheapest channel for the seller.
