Overview
Paymentplus is a company that gives online stores a gateway to accept card checkout and actively grows through a partner channel. It operates in the United Kingdom and Ireland.
Gateway
The gateway plugs into a store's website and sends the buyer's transaction to the bank for authorisation. For British and Irish merchants, a local provider makes it easier to serve shoppers and settle in a familiar currency.
Partner program
Partners can take part in three ways:
- recommend the company's products to their clients;
- connect online stores to the gateway themselves;
- pass merchant applications on for servicing.
Web developers, digital agencies, referral partners and resellers are invited. The logic is simple: whoever builds a store's website can offer checkout at the same time.

Partner rewards, the legal entity, merchant gateway pricing and onboarding time are not published. These are worth asking for directly, especially if you plan to bring several stores and want to compare terms with other programs.
