Overview

PayFast Pakistan is a payment gateway operating in Pakistan. It gives online stores and services access to the main ways Pakistani customers pay.

Payment methods

  • bank cards;
  • direct payment from a bank account;
  • e-wallets;
  • Raast, the State Bank of Pakistan's instant payment system that moves money in real time.

The mix covers card holders as well as customers who prefer paying from an account or a mobile wallet. The more familiar options a checkout offers, the fewer buyers abandon the order at the last step.

The gateway is operated by Avanza Premier Payment Services, which is the contracting party for onboarding.

Who it suits

The service fits local online stores, digital services and foreign projects entering Pakistan that want to accept payments in the ways residents are used to.

Terms

Fees, settlement timing and limits are not published; they are quoted at onboarding based on the methods and the merchant's volume.
