Overview
PagBrasil is a cross-border payments provider that helps digital merchants sell to Brazilian shoppers. It works with both local and foreign companies, collecting payments locally and remitting the revenue.
Payment methods
- Pix, the Central Bank of Brazil's instant payments;
- bank cards;
- Boleto Flash, a faster version of the Brazilian boleto payment slip;
- Apple Pay and Google Pay;
- recurring payments for subscriptions.
Pix and boleto are the key local methods: without them a large share of Brazilian shoppers simply cannot pay.
For foreign companies
A foreign merchant does not need a Brazilian legal entity: the provider collects payments in the country and transfers the revenue to the seller.
Partner program
E-commerce agencies have a dedicated program: their merchant clients get better commercial terms, and the agency gets co-marketing and dedicated support.
