Overview
OnePay Vietnam is a payment gateway that Vietnamese companies use to take online payments. The gateway links a merchant's website or app with banks and card schemes: the shopper enters details on the payment page and the gateway sends the transaction for authorisation.
Why a business needs a gateway
Without a gateway an online shop would have to connect to every bank separately. The gateway takes that work on: one integration and the merchant accepts payments from customers of many banks. For companies selling online inside the country it is a basic part of the payment setup.
