Overview

MyPay Nepal is an e-wallet used for purchases and payments within Nepal. Besides consumers, the service also works with businesses.

What accepting the wallet gives you

Shoppers keep money in the app and pay by phone. For a shop or service this is another way to get paid, with no card terminal and no cash. In Nepalese retail and e-commerce, wallets have long been a familiar tool, and missing a popular one at checkout can cost a seller some customers.

Coverage

The service works only in the Nepalese market. Multi-currency and cross-border operations are not offered.

Company

The wallet is issued by Smart Card Nepal Pvt Ltd, the Nepalese company responsible for the service to users and partners.

Getting started

There is no public price list: processing costs, settlement times and the technical setup are discussed individually. To get an offer, describe your business and say where you plan to accept payments: at a point of sale, on a website or in an app.
