LOOP is a Kenyan payment service provider listed in the Central Bank of Kenya's official directory of authorised PSPs. The regulator permits the company to operate in two areas: mobile money and processing payments on behalf of merchants.

- Merchant payment processing — accepting payments for businesses and passing funds on to the seller.
The company was first licensed in February 2023 and still appears in the current version of the central bank's directory.
Legal entity
The operator is Loop Payco Limited, registered in Kenya. For a merchant this means the counterparty is supervised by the national regulator rather than working through an offshore layer.
What to agree on when onboarding
Specific acceptance methods, pricing and any countries served outside Kenya are not disclosed in the listing. These points, along with business verification and settlement times, are agreed with the company when you request onboarding.
