Overview
Lightspeed Payments provides embedded payment acceptance for retail stores and restaurants. Payments run inside the point-of-sale system, and in supported countries businesses can also send customers online payment links.

Why embedded payments matter
When acquiring is built into the POS system, the sale, payment and reporting are in one place: the amount goes to the terminal automatically, and revenue and fee reports do not have to be merged from different dashboards. For a restaurant this means faster bill closing; for a store, fewer errors at the till.
