Overview
KBZPay is a mobile wallet in Myanmar that also offers payment services to businesses. Merchants can accept payments from wallet holders, who pay from the balance on their phone.

Mobile wallets are a convenient cashless option where only part of the population uses bank cards. By connecting such a wallet, a shop or service:
- accepts payment from customers without cards;
- reduces cash handling and the risks that come with it;
- receives funds electronically, which simplifies bookkeeping.

The service operates in the Myanmar market. For foreign companies it is a way to collect payments from local customers in a familiar format, but onboarding terms for non-residents need to be checked separately.

- acceptance formats: online, QR at the point of sale, or both;
- the per-transaction fee and how funds are withdrawn to a bank account;
- document requirements for the seller.
