Overview
Kasikorn Global Payment is a payment gateway and payment services provider for businesses in Thailand. Its set of methods covers both card holders and shoppers used to paying through a banking app or QR code.
Payment methods
- Bank cards.
- PromptPay QR: the national Thai instant payment system where the customer scans a code and confirms the transfer in their bank.
- Mobile banking: payment via the customer's bank app.
- Direct debit: recurring collections from the customer's account with their consent, handy for subscriptions and utility bills.
- Instalments: the shopper splits a large purchase into parts while the seller receives the full amount.
Who it is for
The broad method mix helps online shops, subscription services and sellers of expensive goods, where instalments lift conversion. Local shoppers use PromptPay heavily, so a store without QR payments loses a noticeable share of orders.
