JamboPay is payment infrastructure for businesses, government institutions and fintechs in East Africa. Through a single API the company covers payment acceptance, mass payouts, cross-border transfers and white-label wallets.
Payment methods
- Mobile money: M-PESA and Airtel Money.
- Visa and Mastercard cards.
- Bank rails: PesaLink, RTGS and standard bank transfers.
This is the core set for the region: a large share of retail payments in Kenya runs through mobile wallets, while PesaLink and RTGS cover interbank transfers.

The operator is Web Tribe Limited (Kenya). JamboPay appears in the Central Bank of Kenya directory of authorised PSPs for mobile money and merchant payment processing; its first licence was issued on 10 February 2022.
