HighRiskTech sets up a merchant account and an online gateway for elevated-risk businesses. The company accepts applications from merchants that cannot get standard acquiring.
What is included
- Merchant account, the account at an acquiring bank that receives money from card sales.
- Online gateway, the technical link between the website and the acquirer: checkout page, data transfer and authorisation response.
The two go together: without an account the gateway has nowhere to settle funds, and without a gateway the account cannot be connected to the site.

Countries, payment methods, rates and payout times are not published. They are quoted after the application is reviewed. To compare the offer with other providers, ask for a full breakdown of the price: percentage, fixed fee, reserve and chargeback fee. Prepare a product description, recent volume and refund data in advance.
