High Risk Payments serves merchants in elevated-risk industries: the company onboards the business to processing, provides payment gateway access and manages risk. It works through financial partners and states international coverage.
How the model works
The company acts as an intermediary between the merchant and banks or payment institutions willing to accept risky verticals. The merchant gets:
- onboarding and application support;
- gateway access for online payments;
- risk management, meaning control over transactions that could turn into disputes and chargebacks.
This setup is useful when one bank has already said no: an intermediary can present the application to several partners with different requirements.
Coverage
Coverage is described as international, without a list of specific countries. If local acquiring in a particular country matters to you, raise it at first contact.
Terms
Fees, reserves and payout times depend on which financial partner accepts the merchant, so there is no public price list. Each business is reviewed individually. The assessment needs a product description, target markets, volume and refund statistics.
