Overview
FastPay Iraq is a payment service built around an e-wallet that lets merchants accept payment by QR code. As the brand name suggests, it targets the Iraqi market: the customer pays from their wallet and the seller receives the money without a card terminal.
How acceptance works
- QR payments: the customer scans the merchant's code in the wallet app and confirms the payment.
- A business dashboard shows transactions in real time, so reconciliation can happen during the day rather than after an export.
This format suits small shops, cafes and service points: a printed or on-screen code is enough, and no dedicated hardware is needed.
